Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Assessment

Mindsake brings together independent senior experts in psychiatry and psychology, enabling access to comprehensive, evidence-based ADHD assessments. These assessments provide a clear understanding of how attentional differences affect learning, behaviour, and emotional well-being.

Whether symptoms present as inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity—or all three—clinicians offer structured assessments and recommendations for support and care.

  • Impulse control and hyperactivity
  • Emotional regulation
  • Behaviour across settings (home, school, social)
  • Co-occurring conditions (e.g. ASD, anxiety, learning differences)

What the Assessment may Include

Your clinician will determine the structure of your assessment, which may include:

  1. Initial Screening & Background History
  2. Multi-Informant Information
  3. 1.5 hour Diagnostic interviews using well validated semi structured interview schedules.
  4. 1.5 hour In Person appointment to assess features of ADHD and mental well being.
  5. Psychometric Questionnaires (e.g., Conners)
  6. ADHD targeted cognitive testing (QB check)
  7. Optional Learning assessments (e.g., Wisc).
  8. Clinical Integration & Diagnostic Formulation
  9. Feedback meeting and personalised report

The exact approach will depend on your clinician’s professional judgement.

Any diagnosis and treatment recommendations are made by your clinician, who is solely responsible for clinical decisions.

Where appropriate, your clinician may discuss treatment options, including medication or psychological approaches.
