Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Assessment

Mindsake brings together independent senior experts in psychiatry and psychology, enabling access to comprehensive, evidence-based ADHD assessments. These assessments provide a clear understanding of how attentional differences affect learning, behaviour, and emotional well-being.

Whether symptoms present as inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity—or all three—clinicians offer structured assessments and recommendations for support and care.

What Clinicians Assess

  • Attention and executive functioning
  • Impulse control and hyperactivity
  • Emotional regulation
  • Behaviour across settings (home, school, social)
  • Co-occurring conditions (e.g. ASD, anxiety, learning differences)
  • Optional Learning assessments (additional cost)

A typical ADHD assessment involves an independent  consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist (general psychiatric assessment) and a clinical psychologist (structured assessments). The clinicians work together as independent colleagues to reach a shared diagnostic formulation; each is responsible for their own contribution to the assessment.
