Joanne currently works within an NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) as a supervisor and service development lead, contributing to the development of early intervention pathways that enable children and young people to access support at the earliest stages of mental health difficulty.
Alongside her NHS role, she maintains a private practice at 85 Wimpole Street, supporting a diverse range of young people and adults seeking thoughtful, high-quality psychological care.
Joanne’s values are shaped by her international background. Originally from Hong Kong and raised in Malaysia, she has spent over a decade living and working in the United Kingdom. This global perspective underpins her commitment to culturally responsive care and a nuanced understanding of each individual’s unique lived experience.
Outside of her clinical work, Joanne enjoys staying active and is currently working towards beating a 5km personal best of 21 minutes—set by one of her clients (although this is taking longer than she had hoped!). When not running, she can often be found searching for the best burger in London.
