Psychological Therapies

Personalised Mental Health Support for Children, Adolescents & Adults

Independent clinicians offer individual therapy for people of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. Their work is compassionate, personalised, and grounded in the latest psychological research and clinical expertise. Whether you’re seeking support for a child experiencing school-related stress, or for an adult managing anxiety, trauma, or low mood, these clinicians are here to help.

Clinicians draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, tailored to your individual needs.

What Clinicians Help With

  • Anxiety, panic, and low mood
  • Emotional regulation and distress tolerance
  • Relationship and identity challenges
  • School, university, or work-related stress
  • Burnout
  • ASD and ADHD-related difficulties (impulsivity, organisation)
  • Past trauma or grief
  • Self-esteem and Resilience Building

Who It's for

Therapy can be helpful for individuals and families at many different points in life, whether you’re seeking support for a specific difficulty or simply wanting space to reflect and make sense of things.

  • Children facing emotional, social, or behavioural challenges
  • Teenagers navigating identity, anxiety, or academic pressures
  • Parents or carers seeking advice on behaviour management and ongoing follow up support
  • Adults experiencing low mood, burnout, anxiety, or unresolved trauma
  • Anyone seeking a safe, structured space for reflection and healing

How It Works

  • Initial consultation to explore needs and goals (parent/carer if under 18) typically 60-90 minutes
  • Weekly or fortnightly sessions (typically 50 minutes)
  • Duration can be short-term or longer-term, depending on your needs
  • Regular review points to ensure therapy remains helpful and aligned.

Integrative and Connected Care

Where needed, clinicians can collaborate with:

  • GPs, schools, universities, work place or other mental health services
  • Parents, partners, or carers (with consent)
  • Educational psychologists or psychiatrists available through the Mindsake network
