Through Mindsake, individuals can access independent clinicians offering comprehensive autism assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults who may be neurodivergent. Assessments are conducted in line with NICE and NHS best-practice guidelines, ensuring a high-quality, clinically robust evaluation.
Clinicians work closely with families to provide clarity, deepen understanding of each child’s unique strengths and needs, and support access to appropriate care. Each assessment is client-centred, evidence-based, and delivered by experienced senior clinicians specialising in neurodevelopmental conditions.
What Clinicians Assess
- Social communication and interaction differences
- Sensory sensitivities and routines
- Developmental history
- Cognitive and emotional profile
- Co-occurring challenges (e.g. anxiety, ADHD, learning differences)
What the Assessment Includes
- Gathering developmental history, presenting concerns, and background information
- Multi informant Information gathering
- Clinical interviews with parents/carers using Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised.
- Direct assessment using specialist diagnostic tools (Autism Diagnostic Observation Scheduled-2).
- Psychometric Questionnaires
- Multidisciplinary Clinical Review
- Cognitive and behavioural testing where appropriate (additional cost)
- A detailed feedback session and a written report
