Dr Ayesha Sadozai is a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in supporting children, young people, and families navigating complex emotional, developmental, and neuropsychological challenges. With a warm, evidence-based and collaborative approach, Ayesha has developed specialist expertise in supporting children with neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other behavioural or emotional difficulties.
She provides both comprehensive psychological assessments and tailored therapeutic interventions, helping families understand their child’s strengths and needs while guiding them toward meaningful support
Originally trained in Australia, Ayesha completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology Honours) and Master of Psychology (Clinical) at Western Sydney University, followed by a PhD in Paediatric Neurodevelopment at the University of Sydney’s Brain and Mind Centre, under the supervision of Prof. Adam Guastella. Her research focused on autism and executive functioning in children, in partnership with the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

Ayesha possesses extensive expertise in both assessment and intervention for children facing a variety of behavioural challenges and neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism, ADHD, specific learning disorders, selective mutism, intellectual disability, anxiety, and complex trauma. She is versed in a range of therapeutic techniques, such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), parent behaviour programs, anxiety management for children, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) adapted for children and families, social skills enhancement, emotional regulation support, and emotion-focused approaches.
Ayesha has worked across multiple high-acuity services including NSW Health, ICAMHS, Headspace, and specialist paediatric diagnostic centres. Since relocating to the UK, she is HCPC-registered and currently providing high-quality care at a leading London paediatric hospital and in private settings.
